ISLAMABAD, Feb 9 (APP): Independent candidate Shuaib Ameer has won the election for Punjab Assembly constituency PP-281, Layyah-III by securing 38,353 votes.
According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, his runner-up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate, Muhammad Tahir who bagged 34,870 votes.
Overall voters’ turn-out remained 59.89%.
